The programme begins with chi kung (qiqong) exercises to help quieten the mind, breath and heart, correct the posture, strengthen the body's core muscles and allow 'free passage' of energy and vitality through the body. We also work on the first section of the traditional 'Yang Chen Fu' form putting those exercise skills into movement and partnered 'push hands' exercises.
As you progress the skills become more refined working on that which which makes your mind and body stronger, such as posture, breathing, mental intention, skill and technique through the second and third sections of the Yang Chen Fu form and more advanced levels of the chi kung exercises and push hands.
