About the club
Halkwell Athletic FC has been successfully running football teams since its early beginnings in 1974 when there were just three junior teams and a handful of committee members. Since that time, the club has grown into one of the largest football clubs in the Southend area catering for mini, junior, senior, girls, ladies and veteran soccer players.

130 pupils took part in today’s Essex Primary Dodgeball competition, which is the first competition of 2019 and runs into the Winter Games next week.
