On the 2nd February 80 reception pupils from across the west of Southend came together to compete in the annual reception sports hall competition held at the St Christopher School.
Blenheim, Heycroft, Leigh Infants and West Leigh competed in both track and field competitions with the under and over obstacle relay, the chest push, standing long jump and many more. Blenhiem school edged away from the rest of the schools to win the title with 114 points, with Leigh Infants in second with 106 points and Heycroft and West Leigh in joint 3rd with 90 points.
We hope all schools who took part enjoyed the competition and we look forward to seeing them at the KS1 competition next year!
