Key Stage 1 Tag Rugby
On Thursday 24th May Southend Rugby Club was the venue for the Southend Schools Key Stage 1 Tag Rugby competition. A great day was had by all competitors in what was almost tropical conditions.
The day saw a great turnout with a total of 12 schools taking part in what was a great competition. Leigh Infants, Heycroft, West Leigh Infants and Chalkwell Hall represented the Southend West Partnership whilst Thorpe Greenways, Bournemouth Park, Earls Hall, Hamstel, Bournes Green, Thorpe Hall, Saint George's and Alleyn Court represented the Southend East Partnership.
Alleyn Court gave a dominant display throughout the competition to win the title, with West Leigh in runners up spot and Heycroft third. Special thanks to all teachers and parents who came to support and both the SWSSP and SESSP teams along with DE Photos who were present to capture all the action.
