Alleyn Court win Key Stage 1 Borough Sports

A brilliant days athletics was had by all schools who competed in the Key Stage 1 Borough Sports competition at Garons Park on Thursday 5th July.

There were a number of different active stations plus rest zones with 1 boy and 1 girl from each team being sent to compete at each station. The stations were as follows: Target throw, Football dribble, Shuttle relay, Crazy catch, Hockey dribble, Chest push, Stepping stones, Skipping relay, Standing Long Jump plus the various relays including the Skipping relay, Space hopper relay, Egg and spoon relay, Sprint run relay.

 The competion was extremely close with only 12 points separating 1st and 2nd and only 6 points separating 2nd and 3rd! After a brilliant effort by all competing athletes, the final 3 schools were as follows:

1st Alleyn Court

2nd Fairways

3rd Edwards Hall
