ANOTHER AWARD for Southend West SSP!
The Southend West SSP received the England Athletics Community Partnership award for the East region on Sunday at Bedford. Partnership Director Scott Sterling & Partnership manager Hayley Pegg received the award from board member and Essex Athletics coach Phil Sergeant.
The SWSSP has been a key partner to the Essex Athletics Network and play an instrumental role in the development of Athletics within the community. The SWSSP has hosted a range of events including Try Athletics Days, Quad Kids competitions and Athletics CPD courses for teachers. They also run an Athletics 4 All club for those aged 6 and over delivering the UK Athletics Awards scheme in primary schools and have setup a school based recreational running group for mums and dads.
The Southend West SSP would like to thank the Eastwood Academy, their hub school for their continuous support.
