The first competition of the academic year took place today Thursday 28th September; a huge increase in participation saw 12 schools take part in the Girls & Boys Table Tennis competition which Thorpe Hall School kindly hosted the. With four in a team, schools played each other to see who would come out on top.

Earls Hall won the double last year and will be joining Bournes Green and Alleyn Court to represent Southend at the Essex finals in November.

130 pupils took part in today’s Essex Primary Dodgeball competition, which is the first competition of 2019 and runs into the Winter Games next week.
