We held our year 5/6 boys emerging football competition on Friday 15th November at the Len Forge Centre.
The idea of the competition is to provide pupils who perhaps don’t play often or play outside of school or who come from a smaller school to come together to develop their skills, team work and competition. The winning team overall go through to the main competition the following week feeling more confident.
It was fantastic to witness the progress being made throughout the morning, alongside the developments in self-confidence, passion and determination within the teams.
We look forward to welcoming back Thorpe Hall into the main competition on Friday 22nd November. We wish them the best of luck.
