LTA Youth Free tennis training for staff

LTA Youth – Brand new Tennis training, resources and vouchers for your School

The LTA have launched a new primary school tennis offer which is available for free to all primary schools.

LTA Youth is an overarching offer that has been introduced by the LTA to ensure the principles and content of all tennis coaching and teaching has the same fun and innovative approach. This means that a child learning to play tennis for the first time in school sees and feels something similar to what they might experience in a park or club.

So what’s on offer….

• Free resources pack for your school, including 18 progressive and inclusive lesson plans. The pack is available to download and each teacher completing the online training will also receive a hard copy pack in the post.
• Free competition opportunities for your schools with the addition of a new skills festival that can be delivered as an intra school event or even virtually!
• Free, online teacher training for your schools. Accessible on the move and in bitesize chunks to guide you through the new programme.
• £250 of team teaching or equipment for your schools. Available (one voucher per school) once you have completed the online training. If using for team teaching support it’s a great opportunity to link with a LTA accredited coach, who has been trained on LTA Youth, both to help continue teacher CPD but also to develop stronger school club links.

The online training will be available from the 16th March but you can register anytime and will be able to access all the resources and lesson plans.
