KS1 Football

On Wednesday 28th April, Years 1 and 2 mixed football stars enjoyed the sunshine and played six minutes each way of football.

Schools were placed into two pools and played each team in their group twice. Eventual winners of the Southend West partnership were Edwards Hall who with Chalkwell played the winners and runners up from the Southend East partnership.

In the end there could only be one winner, and working as an excellent team, Prince Avenue prevailed as winners taking the crown as 2010 1/2 mixed football champions. Edwards hall finished in second place. Thank you to Playfootball for the venue, SSCo's for organising and refereeing, teachers, Young leaders and parents, and of course our lovely Competition Manager Tracy Bennett for collating the ‘scores on the doors’
