On Thursday 27th May Westcliff Rugby Club was the venue for the KS 1 Tag Rugby competition.
The competition consisted of four rounds with the winners from the SWSSP vs the winners from the SESSP. Each match was six minutes each way, every team had eight players on the pitch three of which were girls.
The participating schools from the west were Chalkwell, Barons Court, Heycroft and Westborough. Congratulations go to Chalkwell who won the competition and Heycroft who finished third overall. All schools showed great skill in all their games.
Special thanks to all teachers and parents who came to support and both the SWSSP and SESSP teams along with Tracy Bennett (Competition manager) who made sure the competition ran smoothly.
