Essex KS2 Cross Country

Well done to all schools that competed in the Essex KS2 Cross Country Finals at Garon Park, Southend today. The rain held off and the fantastic atmosphere created by the children, supporters and music made the cold wind worth the effort.

We were delighted to see so many young people running with such determination and commitment to succeed.  The Southend West Schools Sports Partnership were amazed at the camaraderie between everyone. It was lovely to see so many children supporting one another.

There were some exceptional performances despite the bitter cold and chilly winds. Individual and team winners came from all over the county.
