Leigh Ramblers football club was founded in 1902 and celebrated in fine style their centenary in 2002 with over 400 guests attending a presentation at the Cliffs Pavilion, in Southend.
In the 1999/2000 season mini soccer was introduced to the club, starting with 4 teams and now have a 18 mini soccer teams, 15 11 a side teams, 3 girls teams and a soccability team, with between 30 to 40 players training at u/6 level The club's aim is to find a level for all players who come to the club.
They believe that all players can play, have fun in a safe environment whilst building confidence in a group situation. They try to promote fair play and have equal opportunities for all. Essex Premier Soccer coaching undertake the coaching of the youngest members the club has and runs soccer schools in the holidays with discounts for club members, EPSC also run in school training at lunch times and after school clubs.
