On Wednesday we held our sitting volleyball competition, an inclusive 6v6 game where teams aim to hit a ball over a net and land it within the opposition's court. Teams have three passes, to form an attacking play, before the ball has to go over the net. Sitting Volleyball requires players to maintain contact between their bottom and the floor at all times.
It was great to have 5 schools in Southed competing Milton Hall, Bournemouth Park, Prince Avenue, Chalkwell Hall and Thorpe Hall.
1st place Milton Hall, its great to see them retain their title from 2018.

Southend HAF scheme for the Winter holidays 21 December -30 December 2022. If your child reicieves a free school meal they are entitiled to attend a HAF programme for FREE during the winter holidays.
