On Tuesday, 24 November we visited Garons Park Sports Centre to take part in a Goal Ball Competition for both the visually impaired and sighted. We started with training exercises with a soft blind fold to get us used to handling the ball and giving us an insite into being blind. After we were split into teams of 3, and 2 teams of 4, then we played matches against each other, writing the scores of each game, making it a competition. Hannah's team came 1st with Curtis and Tom, Ashleigh's team came 2nd with Nelson and Gabriel, Evie's team came 3rd with Matt and Lee and the other team came last.
We really enjoyed the day, as it was really good fun and we enjoyed meeting new people, although the company could invest in some new knee pads!
