Congratulations to all schools and pupils who took part in the Aquathlon today. Some excellent performances to accompany the weather!
Sixty plus students from across the two partnerships competed in a swim and run at Belfairs High School. Many of whom have never competed in an Aquathlon before and impressed us with their enthusiasm and professionalism.
Two performances which stood out were that of Sean Graham from Thorpe Greenways who won in an excellent time of 6 minutes 7 seconds and Amy McGlavin from Blenheim who completed the course in 6 minutes 42 seconds .
A big thank you to The Essex Tri Team who lead the competition and the SESSP and SWSSP team who ran the competition. Special thanks to all the staff and parents who came to support their students and children.
Southend HAF scheme for the Winter holidays 21 December -30 December 2022. If your child reicieves a free school meal they are entitiled to attend a HAF programme for FREE during the winter holidays.
